Akron police are investigating a smash and grab break-in that occurred on Wednesday afternoon at the GetGo gas station in the 400 block of East Waterloo Road. When police arrived, they observed that the front door glass shattered. Preliminary information suggests that an unknown suspect or suspects forced entry into the closed business and swiped a number of cigarettes. Anyone with information, call APD at 330-375-2490.
