Lottery Jackpot nears $1 billion

There was no jackpot winner in the Wednesday’s Powerball drawing, but 6 lucky players matched the first 5 numbers for a $1,000,000 prize: 1 from Arizona, 1 from Mississippi (with Power Play), 1 from New York, 1 from Ohio (with Power Play), and 2 from Virginia (1 with Power Play).  The Powerball jackpot now grows to an estimated $950 million for Saturday night’s drawing.
