A 16 year old girl was hospitalized after she was hit by a pickup truck while crossing the street in Mentor. The crash happened around 6:20am on Wednesday morning as the girl was crossing the street and the driver of a pickup truck ran her over. She was then dragged and found under the vehicle. The girl was conscious and alert before being taken to the hospital. Officials say her injuries are non life-threatening. The driver, a 54 year old man, remained on the scene. Mentor police continue to investigate.
