Motorcyclist dead after hitting cow

In medina County, an 18 year old man is dead after he crashed his motorcycle into a cow.  It happened early yesterday morning in Guilford Township.  According to the Medina County Sheriff’s Office, Gavin Patterson was found dead in the middle of River Styx Road.  it was determined he struck a cow that was standing in the middle of the roadway.  The cow died as well.  Authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
