The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian in Stark County. The crash occurred around 8:30pm last night on State Route 800 near Leatherman Drive in Pike Township. The patrol says, a Ford F-150 was heading northbound on state Route 800 when the vehicle struck 81 year old Louis Grooms, of Magnolia, walking on State Route 800. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
