By John Maczko Sep 30, 2025 | 7:57 AM

Starting today, teenagers in Ohio will have to buckle down to earn a driver’s license.  Under a new state rule, anyone 21 years of age and under must now complete a full driver’s ed course.  This includes 24 hours of classroom training, 8 hours behind the wheel with an instructor, and 50 hours of driving with another adult older than 21.  Now, to help with that Governor Mike DeWine unveiled a new tool, it’s an app called road ready Ohio.  It’s available now on Apple and Android devices.  The FREE app let’s teens log practice hours, trach driving behavior, and even gives feedback to help new drivers build safer habits.
