Woman dies after hit by vehicle

Akron Police are investigating a crash that left a 64 year old woman dead during Monday morning’s commute.  It happened around 6:45am at the intersection of Kelly Avenue and Triplett Boulevard.  According to police, the victim was a female pedestrian and was pronounced dead at the scene.  Police say the 37 year old man who was driving the vehicle that hit her stopped at the scene.  The name of the woman has not been released and no other details are available at this time.
