Richfield Police are investigating a fatal crash which occurred around 2:30am Thursday morning on State Route 303 near Southern Road. According to police, a 29 year old woman was heading eastbound on 303 and a 24 year old man in a vehicle westbound on State Route 303 when they collided. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released. The 24 year old man was transported to a local hospital with injuries. Police believe speed played a factor in the crash.
