Stow Police Chief retires

There’s a change at the top of the Stow Police Department.  Chief Jeff Film has retired after more than 3 decades of service in the City of Stow.  Film’s retirement became effective on Sunday.  He joined the Stow Police Department in 1991 and rose up the ranks to become chief in 2014.  He also served 7 years as the commander of the Metro SWAT tam.  Film is succeeded by Chief Heather Prusha, a 25 year police officer who has served in Stow for 20 years.  She was officially sworn in last Friday.
