With more wintry weather on the way for NE Ohio, cold temperatures, the City of Canton is opening its winter warming center tonight. According to a press release, the shelter, located at St. Paul AME Church, 1800 Tuscarawas Street east, will be open from 8pm to 8am. Guests will be admitted on a first come-first serve basis with limited space. Food and water will be available. SARTA- The Stark County Regional Transit Authority will provide free transportation to the shelter during regular operating hours. If individuals tell drivers they are going to the warming center, bus fare will be waved.
