There were 8 fatal crashes across the Thanksgiving holiday leading to 11 deaths, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, same amount in 2024. According to the patrol, 2 of the deaths were OVI related with at least 3 not buckled up. The Highway Patrol says they made 281 arrests for impaired driving and 38 for drug-related charges.
