A 30 year old Kent man was sentenced to 4 years probation after a plea deal involving 2 young girls. Samuel Piltz received a year of intense supervised probation and 3 years of basic probation. The Portage County judge ordered Piltz to undergo a mental health evaluation and follow all of its recommendations. She also ordered him to have no contact with the girls or their families.
