Fire crews in Akron discovered a body Saturday morning while extinguishing a blaze behind a vacant building on South Arlington Street. According to this release, the Akron Fire Department responded around 9:45am to reports of a dumpster fire at 1130 S. Arlington Street. When firefighters arrived, they found a shed in the parking lot fully engulfed in flames. Crews quickly doused the flames and then discovered a body inside the structure. The identity of the person has not been released. The cause and the origin of the fire remian under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Akron authorities.
