The Portage County Sheriff’s Office is collecting donations of non-perishable food and other items until December 23rd. Donations, including toys, baby items, winter apparel, can be dropped off in the collection bins in the sheriff’s office lobby 8240 Infirmary Road in Shalersville. The lobby is open and monitored 24/7. Food will be donated to local food pantries while non-food items will be distributed to area residents in needs.
