Fatal fire victim identified

The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man who died in a house fire in Barberton late Wednesday night as that of 73 year old Danny Jenkins, of Barberton.  Around 1145pm Wednesday, Barberton fire responded to the Bar Shannon on 16th Street NW for an apartment fire.  On scene, they found smoke and fire from the 2nd floor of the structure.  Once the fire was under control, the victim was located in the living room of an apartment.
