Massillon man charged in fatal hit-skip

Jail records show a Massillon man is charged and locked up in connection with a hit-skip crash that killed a pedestrian.  55 year old Miguel Flowers was booked into the Star County Jail.  He faces charges of vehicular manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident.  Investigators say flowers struck a pedestrian on November 28th in the area of 34th Street NE in Canton.  Authorities say the victim, identified as Eugene Rogers, was walking along the street when he was hit.  Rogers later died of his injuries.
