Akron Zoo nearly breaks record

The Akron Zoo had its second highest attendance ever in 2025 with 415,403 visitors throughout the year.  Thanks in part to a collection of animatronic dinosaurs on display over the summer, the zoo boasted one of its best year’s ever.  The zoo’s current high attendance record was set in 2017 at nearly 417,000.  The Akron Zoo is open 361 days a year.
