Two people are recovering after a small plane went down yesterday afternoon in Portage County. The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a 2 seat aircraft experienced an apparent loss of power around 2:30pm yesterday. This happened in a remote wooded area west of State Route 44 near Ranfield Road in Brimfield Township. OSHP says the 2 people on board were taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. No one on the ground was hurt. An FAA inspector is heading to the scene and the crash remains under investigation.
