Akron police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect in connection with a shooting earlier this month. Police responded to a home in the 500 block of Nash Street and found 28 year old Daivan Floyd on the living room floor with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead a short time later. No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Akron police at 330-375-2490 or Crimestoppers at 330-434-COPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
