Ohio bill

By John Maczko Mar 2, 2026 | 7:08 AM

Ohio lawmakers are considering a bill that would stop employers from asking an applicants criminal history before even looking at their resume.  According to Cleveland Dot Com it doesn’t mean an employer must hire someone with a felony record, instead it means the potential employer can’t reject the application of a person with a felony record without first considering their qualifications.  This is a continuation of a state law that has been in effect since 2016.
