Elderly woman dies in crash

An elderly woman died in a single-vehicle crash in Wayne County Sunday evening.  According to a press release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, deputies were called to the scene of the crash on Doylestown Road, east of State Route 57, around 6pm.  Authorities say, the vehicle hit a tree.  The driver of the vehicle, 81 year old Rebecca Bishop, was found dead in the driver’s seat.  No other injuries were reported.  Her death remains under investigation, but natural causes are suspected.
