Big celebration for Acme Fresh Market. They are celebrating 135 years. According to Katie Swartz, Vice president-Marketing, Acme will have 3 weeks of celebration from March 5 through March 25. There will be throwback prices and special events for the anniversary. According to Swartz, Acme is one of the longest family-owned, multistore chains in the country. It opened its newest store in Medina in August. Acme has 16 stores that operate in Summit, Medina, Stark and Portage counties.
