All this arguing going on between who is the best team in the East….Pistons, Celtics, Cavs, Knicks, is just ridiculous at this point. The 4 teams at the top of the Eastern Conference are pretty similar and any of the 4 could make it to the NBA Finals. But no one at this point knows who that team is going to be. The Celtics are about to get star Jayson Tatum back, the Pistons are young but have been the best in the East all year, the Knicks are hanging around like they have the last few years. The Cavs??? Sure the team has James Harden now, but the team hasn’t been together long enough to see how much of a success the trade for him will be. The Cavs have bombed out in the playoffs 3 years in a row. I don’t care how confident a fan or the fanbase is, they have to prove in the playoffs they can get to the Eastern Conference Finals or the NBA Finals. Until they do that all this talking about them possibly being the best team in the East is nothing but a bunch of noise. Prove it in the playoffs.
