The Ravenna Township couple found dead in their home earlier this week has been identified as 78 year old Connie Edens and 70 year old Donald Edens, both suffered gunshot wounds to the head. In a news release, officials say sheriff’s deputies responded about 3:15pm Wednesday after receiving a request for a welfare check at a home in the 400 block of Summit Road. After receiving no response, deputies began checking the exterior and saw someone through the window slumped in a chair. Deputies then forced their way inside the home and found the man and woman dead. No other info has been released at this time.
