One thing I have noticed as the NFL Draft approaches is how many people out there are on social media or podcasts etc, telling people who is going to pick who. The internet and podcasting has led to a wave of people covering every sport that are now so called experts on their given sport. Are they really??? It seems like you or me or anyone else could start a website or do a podcast and then automatically we will be grouped in as an expert. Are you serious??? Yes I am. Social media has taken over and made stars of people that in no way should be stars and have made it look like some are the experts on sports that they really don’t know much about at all. It’s really hard to weed through all those so called experts, who really aren’t and find the ones who actually know something. It used to be fun to keep track of what the top analysts in whatever sport had to say, but now there seems like there are thousands and thousands of opinions. Just like there are too many streaming places and its too hard to keep track of them all, the sports opinion area is having the same issue. I miss the old days. Just a couple of guys or ladies that everyone went to for football news, basketball news, etc. Now it’s just a mess. Thanks social media.
Too many experts
