North Canton City Council members have rejected legislation that would legalize the longstanding practice of residents of the Sanctuary housing allotment driving golf carts through their neighborhood. The proposed legislation would have allowed residents to drive golf carts in neighborhoods with speed limits of 25 mph or less on roads that did not intersect roads with speed limits 35 miles an hour or faster.
