Akron Police continue to investigate the Saturday night crash on South Arlington that sent 4 people to the hospital, including 2 officers. Officials say that at midnight on May 9th, a 38 year old woman crashed into a police car as she turned westbound onto East Archwood. The driver of that vehicle was ejected from the car. Her 22 year old daughter, who was also in the vehicle, received serious facial injuries. The mother sustained a head injury. Both officers sustained various injuries. The injuries to all 4 people involved are being called non-life threatening injuries. The officers were responding to a call on Tarson Place in a marker cruiser when the woman entered the path of the cruiser when attempting to turn. The crash remains under investigation.
