Amazon employees dies at fulfillment center

By John Maczko May 12, 2026 | 7:12 AM

An Amazon spokesperson confirmed that an Amazon employee died at the fulfillment center at 1155 Babbitt Road on Sunday.  According to a Euclid Police report, at around 6:50 p.m., officers responded to the Amazon warehouse to assist Euclid Fire with a medical emergency.  Police said the victim was unresponsive as first responders provided aid.    According to the report, the employee told others he was not feeling well and later passed out at his workstation.  Employees then called 911.  They were sent home with pay for the shift, according to the spokesperson.  Amazon shared that onsite counseling resources are available for those who need them.
