A woman wounded in a mass shooting at an Airbnb party in Bath Township last fall has filed a lawsuit against the property owner and the rental app platform. The suit argues that Airbnb and property owner was liable because the home was listed in a township that prohibits short-term rentals. On November 2nd 2025, police say several people opened fire at a house party on Top of the Hill Drive. At that party, 18 year old Elijah Wells of Akron was killed and 8 others were wounded.
