High gas prices aren’t expected to keep travelers off the road over Memorial Day weekend. AAA predicts a record number of Americans will journey 50 or more miles from home. AAA projects that 45 million Americans will travel between Thursday May 21st and Monday May 25th. That’s up less than 1 percent from the 44.8 million people who traveled over the holiday last year.
