The Akron Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a 321 year old man found in a crashed vehicle Saturday evening. according to a news release sent to WNIR, officers were called to the 1200 block of Winton Avenue just before 6:30pm Saturday for reports of a shooting. On scene, officers located a vehicle that had struck a home. The driver had sustained a gunshot wound to the chest. The man was transported to the hospital where he died a short time later.
