Two teens are in custody after shots were fired at Lane Field in Akron last week. No one was hit by a bullet, but a 15 year old girl was hurt while running from the gunfire. Officers responded to shots fired around 4:30pm June 4th and found a 15 year old girl who was injured after being hit by a vehicle. she was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Two boys, ages 15 and 16, were arrested a short time later. Both face charges of carrying concealed weapons and are currently being held at the Summit County Juvenile Detention Center.
