Second half 2025 real estate tax bills are being mailed this week. bills are being mailed later than in previous years due to recent changes required under Ohio law. However, property taxes will remain DUE in July, according to the Summit County Fiscal Officer, Kristen Scalise. she says, residents should know that this delay is the result of changes mandated under state law and is not unique to Summit County. The closing date for payment is July 31st 2026, with the exception of military personnel. There are several ways for property owners to make payment, including in-person, by mail, online by phone or at banks that participate in the Regional tax Collection System.
