Akron police got a call on Monday about 4 missing juveniles near Summit Lake Community Center. Based on information at the time, detectives immediately launched an extensive investigation, utilizing multiple investigative tools, including Flock Safety cameras and surveillance footage, while coordinating with several law enforcement partners including the FBI, Summit Metro Park Police, New Franklin Police, in an effort to locate the juveniles. As the investigation progressed, detectives determined that the juveniles had not been kidnapped or abducted. According to this press release, all 4 juveniles were located safely and returned to their parents.
