Boy’s body recovered from Lake Erie

The body of a missing 6 year old boy was pulled from Lake Erie Sunday afternoon.  Crews first responded to the East 55th Street Marina around 8:45pm Saturday where a child was reported to be in the water.  The fire department’s boat scanned the water several times and deployed several divers.  The search for the boy turned into a recovery mission before Metroparks divers discovered the boy’s body on Sunday afternoon.  It’s not know how the child ended up in the water.
