A high school football player was shot and killed Sunday afternoon and police are searching for 2 suspects. 19 year old J’Air Bell was a quarterback at North High school and he played in a scrimmage right before he was killed. The incident happened just before 2pm Sunday. according to police, Bell was a passenger in a car on Marie Avenue when 2 suspects began opening fire. The 17 year old driver was not injured and drove away from the area before officers found the car near Lakemont Avenue and Manchester Road, near Summit Lake. Bell was shot in the head and died at the scene. Police continue to look for the 2 suspects. If you have any information, call APD at 330-375-2490.
