A suspect is in custody after making threats toward a Portage County school on Wednesday. Mantua and Hiram Police reported to the school around 9:15am after a potential threat made on social media against the Crestwood School System. The departments said that a student reported information about the threat to the school’s staff and that the high school initiated a soft lockdown for Crestwood’s 7-12 building as a precaution. According to the police, the individual behind the alleged threat was arrested.
