The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Tuscarawas County Tuesday evening. According to a release, troopers responded to a crash reported on Midvale Mine Road near Canary Road in Union Township around 7:40pm. Troopers say the crash involved a Ford F-150 pickup truck driving SW on Midvale Mine Road and drove off the side of the road, striking a post and a tree. The driver, identified as 64 year old Jeffrey Cottrell, of Dennison, was pronounced dead at the scene. no other injuries were reported
