Enjoy baseball while it lasts

Playoff time in Major League Baseball and soon there will be a World Series Champion.  Will it be 3 in a row for the Los Angeles Dodgers or will someone end their winning streak.  Yankees??? Guardians??? Brewers???Red Sox??? Who knows.  Play off baseball is always full of twists and turns.  If you’re a baseball fan, enjoy it while it is still here.  Both the players and the owners side expect their to be a lockout and what could be a lengthy one after the season is over.  There is talk of missing half the season or the whole entire 2027 season if need be.  There is a lot of back and forth with the owners wanting a hard salary cap and the players not wanting anything to do with that. Also a discussion about a salary floor which would make each team have to spend at least a certain amount of money.  The current CBA runs out on December 1st and then, lockout here we come.  The two sides are very far apart and unless one side decides to budge at some point, this could drag on and on and it means maybe a shortened baseball season or none at all. If the Dodgers who spend tons and tons of money win the World Series again, the owners may dig their heels in even deeper for a salary cap.  So you baseball fans better enjoy the end of the season and the playoffs.  Because it could be some time before we are watching baseball again.
