An investigation is underway into a plane crash in Stark County that injured one person on Saturday morning. Around 10:40am, a 1957 Cessna 182A single-engine plane lost control while attempting to land at Lee Airport, in Lexington Township in Stark County. The aircraft continued through the designated landing zone, struck a ditch, and came to rest on State Route 225. The pilot, a native of Idaho, suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. There were no other injuries. The FAA and NTSB were notified of the crash and will be completing a separate investigation.
