A shooting in an Akron Bar Tuesday night left one man dead. Officers responded to the Absolut Lounge in the 400 block of South Street just after 10:30 pm with reports of a shooting.
Police found 36 year old Antonio Burney of Akron in the parking lot with multiple gun shot wounds to his chest. He later died at the hospital.
A 26 year old man was found in the bar with a gun shot wound to the his leg. He has not yet been identified.
Akron police say the shooting stemmed from an altercation inside the bar that continued outside where it escalated.
