The Akron Public Schools have placed Buchtel athletic director and football head coach Bryan Williams on administrative leave.
Williams did not coach last week’s game when Buchtel beat Garfield 14 to 6.
This news comes after Buchtel was forced to forfeit 5 of it’s seasonal wins due to playing ineligible players which dropped it’s overall record to 2-7 and it’s city series record to 2-2.
During this leave, Tahj Dent will serve as interim head coach of the Griffins.
The Griffins will play East in Week 10 tomorrow at Kenmore Stadium at 10 am.
