Two men shot in Akron

Akron Police are investigating after 2 men were shot Wednesday night around 7pm in the 1900 block of Triplett Boulevard.  On scene, officers located a 37 year old man shot.  A second victim, a 36 year old man, had already been transported to the hospital prior to officers arriving on the scene.  Both victims, who sustained non life-threatening injuries, were said to have been shot by an unknown suspect.  More than a dozen shell casings were recovered from the scene, and detectives determined that multiple vehicles and at least one residence had also been struck.
