Police chase in Barberton

An Akron man is facing multiple charges after leading police on a chase in Barberton.  Shortly after 6 last night, Barberton Police responded to a domestic dispute at a home on Florida Place.  When they arrived, the man in the dispute, 32 year old Vincent Torres, took the woman’s vehicle and fled.  The pursuit ended when he crashed the vehicle into a utility pole in the 100 block of Wooster Road West.  Torres was transported to the hospital.  An investigation is underway.
