A 22 year old Portage County man has been charged in a knife attack on a woman. According to authorities, Michael Lemons Junior, of Franklin Township, was charged with attempted murder in an incident that occurred Wednesday. Lemons allegedly attacked the woman at his Rugg Street home with a kitchen knife, inflicting multiple lacerations and puncture wounds. He was booked into the Portage County Jail and is scheduled for a July 25th preliminary hearing. No word on the condition of the woman.
