Two Kent State students are facing federal charges for allegedly targeting elderly victims in a multi-state fraud scheme. Prosecutors say, a 24 year old male and a 23 year old male, acted as money mules, collecting cash from seniors in New York and Ohio, scamming victims out of more than $276,000. Both are in the United States on student visas and are now in the Mahoning County Jail, facing charges including wire fraud and money laundering.
