Just days after Barberton officially canceled it’s high school football game against Highland, the Hornets athletic director has called for the removal of Barberton from the Suburban League. Earlier this week, Barberton notified Highland that a rash of injuries forced administrators to cancel this week’s game. Highland responded, saying such actions damage the credibility of our league, and diminish the skills of athletes. Suburban League Athletic Director Keith Walker has declined comment.
