Plans for an Amazon fulfillment center to be built in Kenmore has cleared another hurdle, as the Akron Planning Commission voted 5 to 0 in favor of the facility to be built at a former Akron Baptist Temple site. The $33 million project would be built on Manchester Road in the Kenmore neighborhood. If the city approves the project, construction will start in early 2026 with a completion date in summer, 2027, and with it….hundreds of jobs.
