A 14 year old female student from Twinsburg Hugh School was fatally shot Sunday afternoon and a 15 year old Twinsburg Township boy has been charged in her murder. London Brown was pronounced dead at the scene around 1:45pm from a gunshot wound, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner. In a release sent out on Monday, Twinsburg Police report that officers were dispatched to the 10000 block of Ravenna Road after the girl left home with a gun. Early afternoon, one resident reported hearing gunshots in the area. Officers located the 14 year old girl in a wooded area northwest of Twinsburg high School, with an apparent gunshot wound. Police said they were canvassing the area, and found the 15 year old boy exiting the wooded lot near Twinsburg Community Center. Police have not named the suspect, but he has been charged with murder and tampering with evidence. He remains in the Summit County Juvenile Detention Center.
