Free or discounted Lyft rides for Summit County residents will be available over the Christmas and New Year’s holidays to encourage safe celebrations. Summit County Prosecutor Elliot Kolkovich and Summit County Sheriff Kandy Fatheree are teaming up for the Arrive Alive program.
The discounted rides are available during the following windows:
- Christmas: Tuesday, Dec. 23 at 6 p.m. through Friday, Dec. 26 at 12 p.m.
- New Year’s: Wednesday, Dec. 31 at 4 p.m. through Friday, Jan. 2 at 12 p.m.
To redeem the discounted or free rides, residents must enter the following codes when booking through the Lyft app:
- SummitXMAS25 — for Christmas period rides
- SummitNYE26 — for New Year’s period rides
